Dr. Kevin Dale Schramm: Dr. Kevin Dale Schramm was born and raised in Cedar City, Utah. He received a B.S. in biology/zoology from Southern Utah University in 1992. He entered Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997. He is also a graduate of the CSU Medical Acupuncture Course in 2006. His interests include surgery, dentistry, preventative medicine, and pain control.
During his time at CSU, he met and married one of his classmates, Adrienne. Kevin and Adrienne never left the Fort Collins area. They have been serving clients in the Fort Collins area since 1997. It all started with a mobile practice out of the back of their pickup and it has evolved into Paws 'N Claws.
Kevin enjoys any outdoor activity such as camping, fishing, hunting, and motorsports. He has a son from a previous marriage, and two grandsons. He and Adrienne have a daughter and three more sons. Kevin and his family have a pet Ball Python named Reggie, a turtle named Sandy, a Chocolate Lab named Dutch, a Black Lab named Billy, and many fish. They currently reside in Wellington, Colorado.
Dr. Adrienne Schramm: Dr. Adrienne Schramm was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. During her high school years, Adrienne also attended a nearby college and graduated high school in 1981 with an A.A. degree. Adrienne then attended the University of California at Riverside and graduated in 1983 with a B.A. in music. In 1984, she entered the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, acquiring a Bachelor of Music in voice performance in 1988 and a Master of Music in the same subject in 1990. Adrienne then made a career change and entered Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 1993, receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997.
Adrienne's hobbies include music, photography, karate and spending as much time as possible with her family.
Dr. Kelcie Glick: Dr. Kelcie Glick is from the Southwestern part of New Mexico. She went East for college, receiving a Bachelor’s of Art in Science from Goshen College in Indiana, and worked for the Humane Society animal shelter in that area for a year after graduation. Dr. Glick then attended Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2009.
After graduation, Dr. Glick came to her senses and moved back to the West as quickly as possible. She moved to Ft. Collins, and worked at a clinic in Cheyenne, Wyoming until 2014, when she transitioned to the Paws ‘N Claws team.
Dr. Glick and her husband, Nate Roth, share their home with two awesome Catahoula Leopard Dog mixes named Echo and Evelyn, their "bad cat" Pixel and a small collection of frogs . In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities (with the dogs whenever possible), playing ultimate frisbee, and a wide variety of arts and crafts. She has a steadily-increasing orchid collection and a small jungle of other plants.
Elton: Elton was born and raised in southern New Mexico. He moved to Colorado in 2006. He is married with three children. He has been working at Paws ‘N Claws since 2006 as a veterinary technician when he’s not attending school. He received a BS in Biological Sciences from Colorado State University in 2010 and a MS in Environmental Health focusing on Toxicology in 2011. He is currently attending the Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences to earn his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. We can't wait for him to rejoin the Paws 'N Claws team as Dr. West. Go Elton!
He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and camping, hosting neighborhood backyard cookouts, and spending time with his family and friends. He has three pets; a St. Bernard mix named Genny, a Chihuahua named Tony, and a Siamese mix cat named Vinny.
